Charles Co. MCAP assessment data released today by state, shows stagnant progress in reading and math
Data from student MCAP assessments for the 2023-2024 school year was released today by the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE). Across the state, students are showing slow growth on mathematics, English Language Arts (ELA) and science assessments. MCAP, or Maryland Comprehensive Assessment Program, assessments measure a student’s mastery of content and readiness for the next grade level.
