Thomas Stone High School junior DeJuan Woods is not only preparing for Advanced Placement (AP) exams and researching colleges, he is preparing to take on a new role next month: Student Member to the Board of Education of Charles County. Pamela Jones has been teaching adult education classes at the Charles County Lifelong Learning Center (LLC) for the past four and a half years. The Charles County Public Schools (CCPS) Summer school program begins July 9 for students at St. Charles High School. New this year is a required online registration process through ParentVue. The online registration window opens June 3 and closes June 25. In order to register a child for a summer school course, parents must have an active ParentVue account.
