Charles County Public Schools (CCPS) is launching its Federal Impact Aid survey for parents. CCPS receives additional funding from the federal government for parents/guardians who are active duty military or work on federal property in Maryland. The Board of Education at its Dec. 8 meeting unanimously voted to suspend its grading policy and allow the Superintendent to set a minimum grade of 50 percent for an F for the first quarter of this school year. Charles County Public Schools (CCPS) is offering additional meal bags at all curbside distribution sites starting Friday, Dec. 11. The extra meals will be handed out on Fridays to ensure children have meals for Saturday and Sunday.
