    anyone know a ped

I know you said St Mary's but if you are not having any luck I recommend who Dr Mehta's new partner is (I am sorry but I can not remember his name). Dr Mehta is probably good but I have only discussed the issues w/his new partner. They are at calvert hospital. I was in there a few weeks ago...

    Photo printing help needed ...

The program (or printer) is trying to crop the photo to be 4*6 which is why it is cutting off part of the photo. What you need to do is download a program that will allow you to crop to a certain photo size (I personally use picasa which can be downloaded from free online - its made by google)...

    children on cruises

Look on http://www.cruisecritic.com/ - you will be able to find more information about cruises then you would ever want to know. I have been on the Disney cruise 6 times (Just the 3 day bahamas one though). I love it. My neice was on it 2 of those 6 times and she liked it (She was 3 or 4...

    Questions for all the moms....

Agreed. Even with the better "single use" ones, it is said that moisture containing the breastmilk can get into the motor/seal thing and if you have an infectious disease you can not "clean" it off. The FDA does not approve the resale of them but probably a CYA thing. Honestly - the tests...

    Questions for all the moms....

Not to start a debate, but I really doubt they are selling "hospital grade" pumps for those prices. I did a lot of research into breast pumps b/c I was planing on pumping for a year w/my child. A hospital grade (multi-user) pump is over $1000 brand new - you would not resell that for as...

    Questions for all the moms....

I understand what you are saying about that issue. I just know that when I was looking to purchase a breastpump, I was told not to purchase a used one. I google "used breast pumps" and pretty much every site that comes up says that sharing breastpumps is not recomended b/c they can not be...

    Questions for all the moms....

Just an FYI - It is not recommended to purchase used pumps b/c of the whole sharing bodily fluid issue. Even though you purchase new tubes, many pumps still sent the milk through the motor area which is impossible to sterilize. With Hospital grade pumps that your rent, the milk is only in the...

    Questions for all the moms....

You are not going to find a good electric one unless you spend the $300 (especially if you are exclusivly pumping). I never tried a manual one but I think it could be a PIA to use??? If your sister is going to only use it for a few months, you can rent it from them (NN or even St Mary's...

    Mommy/Daddy And Me Type Groups

Does anyone know of any Mommy/Daddy and me groups on the area? Looking to find some playgroups for my daughter as she gets a little older. Is there anything like Gymboree in the area to sign infants (o-6 months) up for classes at? I know that there is one class (a music class) offered at...

    Car Seat Dilema

I always though it was a law that you had to be at least 20 lbs AND 1 yr old to sit forward facing. I know that many kids outgrow their infants seats prior to 1 yr but then you just buy a convertable seat and face it backwards. I tried looking online but I couldn't find anything that said it...

    That Fondue resturant

Dinner for two - cheese fondue, salad, meat/veggies, and chocolate fondue will be about $100 (including a few beers). They give you tons of food though. If I go w/just my husband we never have room for dessert. If we go with others we normally order 1/2 the amount of food that they...

    Baby Furniture

I don't know if they sell this particular brand or not but I have a crib from http://www.babysdream.com/ (if you go to the link you can see where to buy it locally). It was given to me by my SIL. It's the "crib 4 life" crib and matching armour (spelling??). She bought it in 1996 when her...

    Alternative to Bare Minerals

The sample's are pretty small (I had them send me some w/my order) but at least you get a chance to try them. For those of you that use BM - once you try this stuff let me know how it compares. If the consesus is that BM is better that it would be worth it to pay the extra money for it...
