‘Next level gaslighting’

The piece, written by CNN Business senior writer Chris Isidore, argued that since gas prices have dropped from their record average highs, people should view it from the perspective that it’s an "unexpected form of economic stimulus."

"Next time you stop at a gas station, think of it as a $100-a-month tax cut. Or a maybe $100-a-month raise," he told readers.

Explaining the cause for joy, he wrote, "Since hitting a record of $5.02 a gallon on June 14, the national average price for regular gas is down $1.10, or 22%, to $3.92, according to AAA. That average has now fallen for 67 consecutive days."

Big deal! People who were sent home to work through the "pandemic" got hundreds of dollars in monthly raises for the last 3 years!

Please share whatever it is you are smoking, sir!

Clearly something psychedelic .

When these lying liars lie, I'm not terribly surprised - that's like being surprised when a wasp stings you. What's annoying is that so many adult humans believe their lies, then start screaming and throwing themselves on the floor when anyone calls bullshit on their cult leaders.

Well, they've been taking the free candy and climbing into the Democrats windowless van for the last six decades.

They've completed their conditioning and become loyal to their captors.

The huge increase in my heating oil bill pretty much cancels that out. :burning:

I saw something this morning on costs going down like you are getting a break. Sure it came down a few cents from costing you 20% more.

Mentioned some things that came down. Didn't mention what has also gone up.

So does that mean we’re paying an extra hundred bucks a month for Joe and special K? I want a refund.

Why did the price of gas go down.
Let me tell you what I think.
Like everything Supply and demand.
The price went down because the demand went down. Why did the demand go down.
because the price was so fuking high that people were not driving as much.

The price going down had nothing to do with anything Joebama did. It went down because demand went down. If people start driving again it will go back up.

Wow. Instead of getting a beating every day, we get one every other day.

THEY CAUSED THIS. You don't spike the football when it's STILL WORSE THAN IT WAS.

My commute was 1.5 miles each way. Please explain how I saved hundreds of dollars each month by working from home. And last I checked the "pandemic" was 2 years.
