You seemed to be rather knowledgeable. Maybe she was simply acknowledging that. But, realize, it is YOU who took it as an insult, and you who thought of black people immediately when thinking something was an insult. It is not an insult to be a minority. Caucasians are a tiny minority of the world population, and I take no offense at being Caucasian.
YOU are the one who finds it insulting.

I have no intention of finding out what it is, but I do not guess that it is a party of people drinking ice water with lemon in it while they discuss Mozart or fine cuisine. Coming from Sap, I have some guesses, but I don't like to imagine what is in his mind because it sickens me. Your report here tells me that this is true in this case as well.
But, my first guess was not that he was in some funky way trying to insult me with his intelligence on sickening things (how that works in his mind, I do not want to know). One does not immediately need to assume something is an insult.

I'm sorry for you that you find it gross that I don't know the about the sickening world in which you spend your brain-power (limited as it is). Hopefully you will get the help you need soon.
