Democrats do that all the time - "repurpose" campaign contributions. I'm assuming Republicans do it too but it's not as blatant.

After 2016 Jill Stein set up a GoFundMe to "investigate the election results" and fund "recounts". She raised millions of dollars, then she just dropped it. But she didn't return that money. Oh no. She "repurposed" it, and that's exactly what she said - she was repurposing all that money. Now she's in sh*t with the FEC because of it and trying to pay her fines and legal fees....out of the money people donated for the recount.

I saw that last night on "The Five" --- Harold sat there with his head down. It was unusual as he was never asked his thoughts as the conversation went around the table.

There are times when I feel sorry for him, like I used to have some sympathy for Alan Colmes. He's paid to defend the Lefty take, but what happens when it's indefensible? At least HFJ has the integrity to admit when Democrats are so heinous he can't even. Colmes used to soldier ahead and it made for some hilarious entertainment.

Yes he does a pretty good job of explaining this side of the "story". I'm a little tired of hearing him offering his opinion, many times saying I agree with you, and than always seems to add "but". Also, his "glad to be here" opening is wearing thin.

We were at that "town hall". The buses rolled in from the seafarers training center in St. Mary's County. The handlers tried to put them in the line near the door, but we ensured that didn't happen. They were a little pissed as they started heading to the back of the line. I don't know if they butted in line behind us, but it didn't happen in front of us. That "town hall" was the biggest show ever. Too many prepared speeches and not enough opportunities for regular folks to speak. Half of the speakers were thanking the people of stage for that pile of crap.

I wish Harold would get some background on tariffs and the "bipartisan immigration bill". He doesn't seem to understand that tariffs are a negotiating tactic and can change behavior of other counties so they stop taking advantage of some aspect of trade. He also is ignoring that Biden/Harris kept some of Trump's tariffs and reinstated others. Also the "bipartisan immigration bill" codified letting a lot of illegal immigrants enter. That bill was crap.
