🔥 The censorship dam preventing discussion about negative vaccine effects is beginning to break, and we are learning a LOT more information about the precise mechanisms of injury, when they occur. I decided to organize the most current information for you in a “fact check,” comparing what was originally claimed about the jabs to what we know now.

This is not a jeremiad against the jabs. I’m not suggesting that folks who’ve been jabbed are done for. My only goal is to help inform your decision about taking the next booster, and expose the big fat liars who convinced a lot of people to take these medicines without informed consent. I’m making a wild guess that some people might have chosen differently had they known how LITTLE the public health experts truly understood the risks — however rare — of these novel treatments.

1. We were assured the jabs would shut down infections and achieve herd immunity. “You’re not going to get COVID if you have these vaccinations,” Joe Biden famously promised the nation.

Fact check: False. The jabs never provided sterilizing immunity, and now the best data shows negative efficacy, meaning that triple-vaccinated folks appear MORE likely to be infected. You don’t need a link for this one, but if you want a reference, just look to the UK’s March report, which includes a nice table summarizing the current state of affairs.

2. They promised us that the safe and effective mRNA would stay put, captured in the shoulder muscle where it was injected. “It’s safe because it doesn’t travel around the body. All the stimulus your body needs to make antibodies happens right in the shoulder.”

Fact check: False. Studies in animals and more recently in human autopsies have shown mRNA can migrate all over the body. What’s the long-term effect of this? Who knows. It wasn’t studied, Pfizer told everyone the novel therapeutic could not escape the injection site. Worse, FOIA documents obtained in Japan showed that Pfizer DID do preliminary biodistribution studies; at the time they were telling us it didn’t, they knew perfectly well that mRNA did travel.

Even worse, it has now become clear that LOTS of jabs are being administered by incompetent staff who fail to “aspirate” the needle before injecting to make sure they aren’t accidentally shooting mRNA directly into a vein. Mainlined mRNA travels throughout the body even faster, maybe in minutes or hours, and could be the reason why some folks experience sudden and serious adverse events after getting the shots.

[clip]

5. Fauci et al promised us that it was CONCLUSIVELY DETERMINED that the mRNA would NOT infect reproductive organs. They said it was COMPLETELY SAFE for expectant mothers and couples who wanted kids. No possible way it could affect reproduction, they said.

Fact check: 100% false. There is now evidence finding LNPs, mRNA and vaccine-induced spike in ovaries, testes, and most other organs and systems involved in reproduction. Recently-disclosed Pfizer documents (the Japan FOIA) provide evidence that the company knew this during its preliminary animal studies: “Also, mainly the liver, spleen, adrenal glands and distribution to the ovaries was observed, and the highest radioactivity concentration in these tissues was 8 to 48 after administration.”

Late last year, after repeated denials, the NIH was forced to admit that many women were experiencing changes in their menstrual cycles post-vaccination, and has issued millions in grants to study the problem.

What’s the short or long-term effect of this on human fertility? Unknown. But according to some commenters, any other drug showing these effects on reproductive tissues would have been pulled by now.=

6. They promised us that IN NO EVENT could the mRNA enter the cell’s nucleus or modify DNA. It’s not a gene therapy!, they insisted. The CDC still insists, “mRNA never enters the nucleus of the cell where our DNA is located, so it cannot change or influence our genes.”

Fact check: Probably FALSE. At least one in vitro study has found the spike protein instructions being incorporated into cells’ own DNA in a process called “reverse transcription.” The authors reported “BNT162b2 mRNA is reverse transcribed intracellularly into DNA in as fast as 6 h[ours] upon BNT162b2 exposure.”

The possibilities are staggering. A re-wired cell could produce spike protein forever, which could explain “long Covid,” where people appear to permanently test positive for Covid. Or, if the body treats these rewired cells as cancerous, it could trigger autoimmune diseases. Finally, modified sperm or egg cells could pass the mutated DNA into ALL children’s cells.

No vaccine here, but I'm pretty sure our household had covid last Easter (no one got tested, we weren't very sick, other than loss of taste and smell. And a nasty, sticky, perfectly clear phlegm that we had no problem expelling.).

In the last year, hubby says soda doesn't taste right. I used to LOVE cilantro, not any longer. It tastes and smells bad.

Other than that, no lingering effects. And I'm certain we have not gotten it since.

It isn't like many people had the choice of whether or not to take the shot.
People were forced into it by threats and actual firings from their jobs.
In some cases they are still firing people.

IMO a criminal act by Government.

💊 Ivermectin can now be purchased over the counter without a prescription in Tennessee, after Governor Bill Lee signed a new bill into law.

🔥 Arizona Governor Doug Ducey signed bills banning local governments from requiring covid vaccines, preventing schools from mandating masks, and designating churches as “essential services” that are “vital to the health and welfare of the public” during any future emergencies. So.

🔥 New York’s replacement governor, Kathy Hochul, is apparently mired in low approval ratings. Fox 5 NY reported the story in an article headlined, “Governor Kathy Hochul’s job performance rating plunges – per new Siena poll.” The poll results show Hochul’s job performance rating is at a historic low of only 36%, just above the minimum hardcore ideological group that will approve anything at all.

💉 Walgreen’s most recent covid-19 report shows that, among its customers, the unvaccinated are now far less likely to test positive for a covid infection.

Unvaxxed — 10%

1 Dose — 16.1%

2 Doses — 35.4%

3 Doses — 41.3%

Walgreen’s data also shows that unvaccinated folks test MORE OFTEN than anyone other group, presumably due to workplace testing requirements.

Even more interesting, those who’d had 3 doses were the MOST likely to test positive (41.3% of all positive tests). It’s almost like the vaccines are working in reverse, or like there’s something wrong with the immune systems of the most highly jabbed folks. So weird. It’s the opposite of herd immunity.

🔥 Masked, shielded, and quadruple-vaxxed democrat congresswoman “Mad Maxine” Waters tested positive for covid yesterday.

Don’t worry, she said the words though! In a press release about her positive test, the silly lawmaker recited that “I am grateful to be fully vaccinated and to have received two booster shots. Thankfully, I am feeling fine and recommend everyone to get vaccinated if you have not done so already.”

📈 A fascinating bit of numbers coincidence: In April and May 2022, 94% of covid cases in Congress were among Democrats:

— March: 1 R, 17 D

— April: 1 R, 16 D

Odd, no? I could make a variety of guesses. Dems might be more likely to take the test. Maybe it’s some kind of political strategy. Maybe Omicron likes dems better. Or, maybe they are more likely to have been boosted than Republicans; some data suggests boosting may increase the risk of a covid infection.

☕️ Coffee & Covid ☙ Saturday, April 30, 2022 ☙ LIARS AND FRAUDS 🦠

🔥 As if we needed any more evidence, another sidesplitting story illustrating the epic failures of the public health establishment bubbled up out of the corporate media quagmire this week. It begins with a lawyer-turned-journalist like me, Sarah Beth Burwick, who investigated one of the insects from the pestilent hive of covid experts who’ve infested twitter, instagram, and TikTok, and who, like the Queen of Hearts, have been merrily condemning everyone questioning the official narrative, from their cushy self-appointed expert thrones.

The “expert” in question was Risa Hoshino, MD, who spent most of the pandemic online touting herself as an exhausted frontline health care worker, public health and virus-science expert, and social media warrior. Right up until this month, she has been constantly posting alarming covid fear porn like this March 24th bon mot: “Not sure how someone can tell me to my face that ‘covid is over’ as I stand there in my scrubs, N95 & face shield, exhausted from treating all the covid+ patients who are either severely ill or have long covid. Unless you’re us, you’ll never get it. #stopthegaslighting.”

She’s often tweeted about the struggles of wearing an N95 mask for 12-hour shifts, and recited countless heartbreaking stories of sick and dying children in her ICU. Along with selflessly toiling away in the covid death wards, and telling everyone else to shut up and take the jabs, she also likes posting pics of herself in bikini outfits, and being out to swanky dinners with friends — a happy, perky wokescold who has it all.

But it turned out there was a problem, a big fat non-perky unhappy kind of problem, and attorney Sarah Beth Burwick finally dug to the bottom of it. The problem was, Hoshino wasn’t a frontline covid doctor. Not at all. Instead, she held a cushy job as a New York City SCHOOL pediatrician, who mostly WORKED REMOTELY FROM HOME during the pandemic.

Not in the ER. Not in the ICU. Not in the Covid ward.

Hahahahah! Of COURSE! Of course it was all a fraud.

And now Sarah Beth’s exposé has gone mainstream. The UK Daily Mail ran an article about Hoshino yesterday headlined, “REVEALED: NYC medic who became star tweeting about working on COVID frontline treating kids in hospital is actually a SCHOOL pediatrician with cushy 9-5 job.”

Which explains a lot about how Hoshino had so much time to tweet and go to the beach and make Instagrams and TikTok videos while she was supposedly masked-up working 12-hour shifts in the ER trying to save children’s lives.

All this would be just another example of leftist maniacs proving once again that truth is the least of the left’s concerns, except that Dr. Risa Hoshino was lauded on many top physician influencer lists, meaning that lots of doctors and terrified liberals were taking pandemic directions from her, and weaponizing her posts to squelch opposing online opinions. According to Burwick, Medical Marketing + Media dubbed her one of “The top 12 physician influencers” on that platform. Beckers HR called her a “top 10 physician influencer” and The Scientist lauded her as “a veteran of using social media to debunk scientific falsehoods.”

In other words, the PUBLIC HEALTH ESTABLISHMENT itself promoted Hoshino’s lies.

I don’t believe they were blinded by Hoshino’s sexy gloss, not for a hot second. THEY’RE ALL LIARS. I say this with all the conviction of a litigating attorney. It’s just not credible that they fell for Hoshino’s deception for two years. They all know each other. They all jockey for position at the top, like in every industry. They can all pick up the phone anytime. AND THEY MUST HAVE. They KNEW Hoshino was a fraud but they platformed her and pushed her nonsense anyway.

This is what the Public Health Industry calls “science.” Remember that.

The evidence suggests Hoshino is mentally ill. She was busy harming herself along with the rest of us; her deception couldn’t last forever, and the bigger the lie got, the worse the final accounting would be. Her mental illness should have been immediately identified and treated, if the system worked AT ALL, if the public health industry gave a single damn about its integrity.

🔥💉🔥 On May 10th, the New York Times published what may be the most important story that you didn’t hear about, a story immediately swept off into the news maelstrom, headlined “Emergent Hid Evidence of Covid Vaccine Problems at Plant, Report Says.”

Uh oh.

The NYT reported that House Democrats “released” — gave to reporters — a report on a Congressional investigation into a covid vaccine manufacturing plant that started having problems in February 2021. In April 2021, the manufacturer admitted to federal officials that 25 million safe and effective doses had been contaminated. It was finally ordered closed in November and 400 million more safe and effective doses of Johnson & Johnson were ordered destroyed “due to poor quality control.”

Bet you didn’t hear much about this story, did you?

The timing of the report’s release is also quite interesting. It was “released” on Tuesday, May 10th. Just a few days earlier, on Thursday, May 5th, the CDC “strictly limited” the Johnson & Johnson vaccine to people at highest risk, allegedly because of months-old reports of a half dozen non-fatal blood clots, which the CDC cleared after a short pause at the time.

Back in 2020, Emergent, a well-established biodefense manufacturer, got a $628 MILLION DOLLAR contract to make J&J and AstraZeneca jabs. But problems at Emergent’s Baltimore plant were well known even before it got the contract to make the safe and effective covid drugs. The Times obtained an email between federal Operation Warp Speed officials from as early as June 2020 noting that reliance on the Baltimore plant would raise “key risks” and the site would “have to be monitored closely.”

Spoiler: it WASN’T monitored closely.

🔥 Covid cases are increasing across the US. The New York Times ran a story yesterday headlined, “Biden’s Health Officials Warn Of A Substantial Increase In Coronavirus Cases.” (Why do they put always Biden’s name in the headline? He probably doesn’t even know what day it is.)

Anyway, the CDC reported that a third of the US is now in “high” covid territory, and encouraged local officials to re-order indoor mask mandates. No thanks. After reporting THAT unpleasant fact, the Times noted “The warnings from Dr. Walensky and other federal health officials seemed somewhat at odds with [Joe] Biden’s own stance…Mr. Biden no longer wears a mask in most settings.”

How about that.

Take a look at the Times’ covid maps. Is it just me, or do the higher covid areas seem to basically track with higher vaccination rate areas? Check out these two charts from the Times’ interactive covid tracker:

Where’s that Geert Vanden Bossche guy when you need him? Maybe HE could explain this baffling coincidence.

(Facebook users: charts and inline graphics are available on the Substack version: LINK)

📈 Chicago public health data shows covid infections in vaccinated 5-11 year-old kids is significantly higher than infections in unvaccinated kids.

So … the kids missed out on two years of school only to get jabbed and then get covid anyway. Thanks experts!

🚀 Six hours ago, responding to announcements from Russia that it will stop shipping grain and fertilizer to states that sanction it, the US State Department tweeted that, “When the U.S. imposed sanctions on Russia to end the war as quickly as possible, we deliberately and carefully created exceptions for agricultural goods & fertilizer. We’re working every day to ensure sanctions aren’t preventing food or fertilizer from leaving Russia or anywhere.”

This morning, Newsmax reported via tweet that, “US Secretary of State Antony Blinken accused Russia of using food as a weapon of holding hostage supplies for, not just Ukrainians but for millions of people around the world.”

Millions of people like us?

But don’t worry! Look how well Biden handled the baby formula shortage. A fertilizer shortage should be no problem. Plus, earlier this month, Fox News reported that Biden officials said fertilizer shortages will give farmers a chance to “hasten” their “transition” from fertilizer to more “natural” resources. What kind of natural resources? U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Chief Samantha Power told ABC’s George Stephanopoulos on This Week, “we’re working with countries to think about natural solutions like manure and compost and this may hasten transitions that would have been in the interest of farmers to make eventually anyway. So never let a crisis go to waste.”

Eureka! Transition to manure and compost! Nobody ever thought of that before! Our best and brightest, my friends. The proposal surprised me because I always thought the agricultural revolution started when we “hastened” our “transition” AWAY from manure and compost TO fertilizer. But what do I know? I’m just a lawyer, not a career politician.

You might recall that Biden told the press at a NATO summit in Belgium in March, “With regard to food shortage, yes we did talk about food shortages, and it’s gonna be real.” I can’t believe I’m actually saying this, but Biden was right! The first real shortage was baby food.

💉 The Epoch Times ran a story earlier this week headlined, “Pfizer Moves to Dismiss Lawsuit From COVID-19 Vaccine Trial, Citing ‘Prototype’ Agreement.”

The gist is that whistleblower Brook Jackson sued Pfizer last year alleging that the vaccine maker violated federal laws governing procurement of new drugs and clinical trial regulations. But Pfizer just filed a motion to dismiss Brook’s lawsuit, arguing that those laws and regulations don’t apply to its vaccine contract with the U.S. Department of Defense, because its agreement was executed under a special provision for “prototype drugs,” allowing contractors to skirt many of the rules and laws that typically apply to normal drug development contracts.

In the “Background” section of its Motion to Dismiss, here’s exactly what Pfizer argued:

Because of pandemic-related exigencies, the agreement was not a standard federal procurement contract, but rather a ‘prototype’ agreement executed pursuant to 10 U.S.C. § 2371b[.] … The [contract’s Statement of Work] describes a ‘large scale vaccine manufacturing demonstration’ that imposes no requirements relating to Good Clinical Practices (‘GCP’) or related FDA regulations.

So there you have it. It wasn’t a “rushed experimental drug.” According to PFIZER, it was an “exigency-driven prototype manufacturing demonstration not subject to good clinical practices and related FDA regulations.” It’s totally different from an experiment. This was a “demonstration.”

It took me a while to stop laughing. I’m old enough to remember when calling the jabs “experimental drugs” could get you thrown in Facebook jail. Now PFIZER is shirking liability for its shoddy trials by calling its own drug a “prototype” and a “demonstration.” That would’ve made for a good marketing slogan, right? “Our drug isn’t experimental, it’s a prototype!”

The bottom line is a prototype isn’t something you give to consumers. It’s a mock up, a test. This argument is a joke. It might work, but it’s a joke, a joke they played on all of us.

Pfizer said a lot of other dumb stuff in its motion. For those of you with legal interests, here’s a downloadable copy of the Motion to Dismiss. Even non-lawyers can understand the introductory section. https://tinyurl.com/3ue6rpz3.

☕️ Coffee & Covid ☙ Thursday, May 26, 2022 ☙ PAKISTAN PROBLEM 🦠

💉 Let’s compare US news about the jabs to a new article in Israeli media. Remember, Israel is 2-3 months ahead of the rest of the world in the jabs timeline.

The first article is from Bloomberg, of course, headlined “How Omicron Infection Turbo-Charges Vaccinated People’s Immunity.” For a taste of irony, you might reflect on Bloomberg’s article yesterday warning that “everyone” is going to get re-infected.

Bloomberg’s new article reports on a pair of recent studies claiming to show that infection produced even BETTER immune responses than a booster shot in vaccinated patients. Guess who did the studies? The first one was Pfizer’s business partner, BioNTech. The other was the University of Washington, which is the same outfit that produced all those hysterically inaccurate early covid models used to justify lockdowns in the US.

I’m not saying the new studies are wrong just because they come from a known liar (U. Wash.) and the vaccine’s own manufacturer (BioNTech). But you know what I’m saying.

A cherry-picked expert who’d been involved just to the extent of reading the study was ready to conclude, “We should think about breakthrough infections as essentially equivalent to another dose of vaccine.” He cheerfully suggested that could mean that if someone had covid recently, they could wait before getting another booster shot.

“BEFORE getting another booster.” Which presupposes we were going to get it in the first place. Um. Anyway, moving on.

The upshot was that the two new studies claim that vaccinated people show more “memory B cells” than unvaccinated people who’d recovered from covid, “suggesting” that vaccine plus infection creates “better” protection than infection alone. Hardly “supercharged,” but did you expect Bloomberg to eschew a little hyperbole over a rare bit of seemingly good news for the jabs?

Now let’s look at this next breaking story from Israel National News, headlined “COVID Vaccines May Impair Long-Term Immunity to the Virus.” That doesn’t sound too good. The sub-headline warned, “Research suggests that vaccination against COVID via mRNA vaccines may reduce body’s ability to produce key type of antibody.”

Uh oh.

The article reports on an April MedRXIv preprint headlined, “Anti-nucleocapsid antibodies following SARS-CoV-2 infection in the blinded phase of the mRNA-1273 Covid-19 vaccine efficacy clinical trial.”

Unsurprisingly, the researchers first found that unvaccinated people developed antibodies for the “body” of the covid virus, called the nucleocapsid, but vaccinated people didn’t. This is unsurprising because the jabs hijack your cells to make the virus’ spike part, but not the nucleocapsid part. So the vaccines can’t prompt the body to make antibodies to the nucleocapsid.

But what WAS surprising was that the researchers also discovered that upon subsequent breakthrough infection, vaccinated people STILL didn’t make the nucleocapsid antibodies, or at least, not as many as unjabbed folks. The article explained that in the unvaccinated subjects who got the virus, nearly all (93%) had measurable levels of nucleocapsid antibodies, but fewer than half (40%) of vaccinated subjects had those antibodies after a subsequent infection.

The researchers think the most likely reason for this is some kind of vaccine-induced suppression of the immune system:

“[G]iven the short time frame the more likely explanation is a vaccine-induced reduction in seroconversion,” researchers wrote, suggesting that trial participants given the vaccine had reduced levels of the anti-nucleocapsid antibodies as a direct result of the vaccine’s narrow focus on the spike protein.

Seroconversion means the body’s ability to make specific antibodies to a disease. So, “vaccine-induced reduction in seroconversion” is exactly the OPPOSITE of what you WANT to happen if you get infected after taking a vaccine.

So now let’s try to reconcile that somber finding with yesterday’s excited Bloomberg story, which claims Omicron breakthrough infections “supercharge” vaccinated people’s immune systems. I’m a lawyer, not a vaccinologist, but memory B cells, which were shown to be elevated in the studies Bloomberg cited, are the body’s “first line” of defense to infection. So maybe a well-primed unjabbed immune system doesn’t NEED as many B cells.

What we do need is a tie-breaker study.

💉 Last October, Meghan Roth collapsed after the Boston Marathon, but the exact reason why was not made public at that time. After a long silence, Meghan has now gone public. It turns out, don’t be shocked, she says the cause was a vaccine injury. The 34-year-old lifelong marathoner told Alpha News she had taken the J&J shot 15 days before the race, in order to avoid having to deal with the testing requirement.

“All I’m saying is this is what happened to me. If you are an athlete, maybe just be careful of running an event too closely to getting vaccinated. Or, here’s what happened to me, at least you have the information to at least be able to make your own decision,” Roth explained.

Roth said in the days that followed her shot she noticed some changes. “I was a little bit like, ‘why is my heart rate so high, especially in taper weeks when my mileage is reduced so much?’” she wondered. Then after the race started, “all of a sudden I just went fuzzy. I don’t even remember hitting the ground. It happened so sudden and the next thing I knew I was waking up in the ambulance,” Roth said.

Roth’s heart had stopped, a sudden cardiac arrest. Two nurses who happened to be nearby kept her alive with CPR until an ambulance arrived. Roth said that she’d told reporters who interviewed her about the event that she was concerned about the vaccine but, you’re probably not going to believe this, her comments about the jabs never appeared in print.

It’s like the reporters didn’t want to report, or weren’t allowed to report, the vaccine’s involvement in her injuries.

🔬 The CDC should be ashamed, yet sadly it has no shame. A new May 25th study published in the Lancet debunking the CDC is titled “Revisiting Pediatric COVID-19 Cases in Counties With and Without School Mask Requirements—United States, July 1—October 20 2021.”

The study’s two researchers looked at a December 2021 CDC “study” that had crunched data from six schools during a short cherry-picked period of time and found, guess what, masks DO work, in the most amazing and compelling ways. The type of study the CDC did is called an “observational” study, and is considered much less reliable than the gold standard of randomized controlled trials.

Anyway, researchers Ambarish Chandra and Tracy Beth Høeg took the CDC’s data and they EXPANDED IT. They added lots more schools and looked at a much larger time bracket. I’ll give you one guess what they found. Their conclusion:

Replicating the CDC study shows similar results; however, incorporating a larger sample and longer period showed NO SIGNIFICANT RELATIONSHIP between mask mandates and case rates. … We failed to establish a relationship between school masking and pediatric cases using the same methods [with] a larger, more nationally diverse population over a longer interval.

I’ll stick the link below in case you’re in one of the unfortunate jurisdictions considering re-masking kids; here’s ANOTHER study to send them. But my favorite part was the final line in their conclusion: “Our study demonstrates that observational studies of interventions with small to moderate effect sizes are prone to bias caused by selection and omitted variables.”

Hahahahaha! They just said studies like the CDC’s are “prone to selection bias!” In other words, they’re accusing the CDC of cherry-picking the data to support the desired outcome, which is exactly what we all know is what happened, but we’ve all been forced to walk around pretending like the CDC is a legitimate source of scientific information instead of a political theater of the absurd.

The Lancet is one of the top journals in the world. Link: https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=4118566.

🔥 Former U.S. Representative Michael J. “Ozzie” Myers, no relation to the horror-movie serial killer, but who was expelled from Congress and went to prison for his role in the 1970s “Abscam” bribery scandal, pleaded guilty Monday to stuffing Philadelphia-area ballot boxes with fraudulent votes — for years — to help elect democrat candidates.

Specifically, Michael Myers pleaded guilty to violations of election law, conspiracy, bribery and obstruction. Prosecutors had evidence that Myers stuffed ballot boxes in elections for at least between 2014 and 2018. He also confessed that he’d bribed elections judge Domenick Demuro to add votes for Myers’ candidates, for as little as $300 and as much as $5,000.

I guess that’s what an elected office in Philly costs, if you want to buy one. Three hundred bucks when it’s on special.

For his part, Demuro also confessed and pleaded guilty of accepting bribes to cast fraudulent ballots and certifying false voting results, back in the summer of 2020.

Now. Forget all about this story. Elections fraud is a kooky rightwing conspiracy theory. It NEVER happens! Do you understand, dummies? Because shut up.

🔥 Everyone’s focused on the Roe decision but there’s another pending ruling you should be keeping your eye on. Politico ran an article about this one last week, headlined “How SCOTUS’ upcoming climate ruling could defang Washington.”

The lawsuit is about an EPA rule setting punishing fines on coal producers for creating greenhouse gases, supposedly to combat “climate change,” and relying on a 1970’s-era law called the “Clean Air Act.”

Liberals are worried that the court will agree with Republican states and coal companies, who say that the EPA lacks authority to essentially create new laws. They argue lawmaking should be reserved to the Legislature, not the EPA, which is controlled by the President in the Executive Branch, and the rules it comes out with are drafted by unelected, appointed bureaucrats.

If the Court agrees with the Republicans, it could endorse a doctrine called “non-delegation,” which Politico says would stop Congress from handing off big decisions to agencies AT ALL. “A narrow reading of what the federal agencies can do is going to literally handcuff the federal government from taking action to protect Americans’ health safety and the environment,” said Lawrence Gostin, a public health law professor at Georgetown University.

Wouldn’t it be terrible if the federal government were “literally” handcuffed from taking action to “protect” American’s safety? Just awful. We might have to look out for our own safety.

And, I hate to quibble, but Professor Gostin used “literally” wrong, which is one of my pet peeves. For that to be correct, the Supreme Court would have to order the federal government to be arrested. But it doesn’t even have “hands,” so that won’t work, either.

Anyway, Politico says that courts, including the Supreme Court, have been using another legal tool to limit agency action, which is called the “major questions doctrine.” Court have cut back agencies a whole lot during the last two years while dealing with the Biden Administration’s repressive covid policies. But the “non delegation doctrine” would go even further than the “major questions doctrine.”

I told you all this covid overreach would have consequences. We’ve seen it happening at the local levels. Now the top court in the nation is considering limiting how much authority federal agencies have — which could be a game changer.

Give it time, people. It’s happening.
