I agree that you should at least be presentable.

But, I feel it's more how you carry yourself and what kind of vibe you give off. I dress pretty casually for work. I work in a lab all day so I would rather be comfortable. Wearing slacks and a button up shirt would get in the way. I always wear a collared shirt though.

If you're confident in yourself other's will notice too.
