Look forward to seeing you there. There were a few people from the forums that rode it last year. We are hoping for another great turnout for the residents. They love to come out and check out the bikes during the signup too.

I know my husband will be riding. I'm seriously thinking about it. I'm a little nervous as I've never riden anywhere close to 100 miles and I've never riden over the Solomons Bridge. I normally putz around seldom riding more than 20 miles at a shot.

Thanks for the itnerary so I can make a more knowledgable decision.

To glue my hands on to the grips?..to glue my butt to the seat?..what?

Well, those are good thoughts too, but I was thinking you might have to glue back on parts that fall off during the ride. Air cleaners, foot pegs.... you know...

pshaw! The last poker run saw literally nothing fall off and only one new oil leak develop. The only things that came loose were both of my mirrors and the headlight pedestal mount. :yahoo:

Of course I do carry some tools, spare nuts and bolts and, of course, a large selection of tie wraps. And several rags and oilsorb cloths...

Planned on riding today but when I started to ride into work, the silly bike wouldn't go faster than 30mph. That is so not going to work. I guess I'll ride on the back of my husband's bike.

Nice turnout!.. I bailed early though, and headed for home whilst only a few miles away from it, from Fat Boys. IF had stayed the course, would have ended up an hour from home...in the rain..with no front fender and crappy brakes. The joys of riding an antique.

Good call. Turns out I didn't have to work, but had other stuff that needed my attention. Glad they had a good turn out. In the good sense of the word.

Looking at the radar..I would guess those assembled in Hughesville for the end of the ride are getting thoroughly poured on right now..or at least their scoots are.

Plus..as usual, my poker hand sucked rocks right from the start...:killingme
