Made it to Hugesville just before the rain started and left after it was finished. A lot of people bailed which meant better odds for those of us that stayed with the raffle. All in all, it was a good ride.

I hear ya! And I heard that the prize pot was excellent too.

Question for the 'masses": What is the common thought on somebody like me handing off a card to another rider to go ahead an play to the end if I bail early? OK?..not OK?

Its the first time I've ever left a run early..so I never gave it a thought before. I tossed my hand.

In My Opinion
pshaw! The last poker run saw literally nothing fall off and only one new oil leak develop. The only things that came loose were both of my mirrors and the headlight pedestal mount. :yahoo:

Of course I do carry some tools, spare nuts and bolts and, of course, a large selection of tie wraps. And several rags and oilsorb cloths...
A real man would trade all that in for a roll of duct tape.

just saying.

thanks

Thanks to everyone for supporting the Veterans Home. There were a few with wet legs but it looked like most riders arrived at the last stop generally dry.

This was a tremendous success due to the support of the riding community and local businesses. I will post a list of contributors tomorrow.

There should be some pictures posted on our website soon.
