I am planning on a 16th birthday party for my daughter. She wants an Un-birthday Alice-in-Wonderland theme. Hall is rented, dress purchased, DJ arranged, food is good, all is going well execpt I am having problems with finding a place for decorations and only have two weeks to find them and don't have time to make them. Suggestions welcome!

My daughter turns 16 in Sept. It sounds like I'm going to need to take out a loan for the birthday party. :faint:

Tell her you're having cake and ice cream at the house and she can invite some friends over.

Why does this remind me of an episode of "My SuperSweet 16"? :lmao:

I'd go with oriental trading. :yay: But you better order it today. And have it express mailed.

Pssst... He's beyond that point... he just needs the decorations.

WTH is a "un-birthday"?

And you ask if I understand my 16 year old? It seems that in the story (Alice in Wonderland) there is an opposite theme going, instead of a birthday, an un-birthday. Go figure, I'm being the dutiful dad and going along with it.

 Don't think PT went to that much trouble for his "coming out show"

A very merry unbirthday to you, and you , and you. From Alice in Wonderland.

mrweb - are you putting teapots on every table?

If I can find inexpensive ones, yes, with some candy. Also I thought of some huge playing cards to hang instead of balloons.

Helium is a lot of fun at parties

Is this a surprise party? Or does she know about it?

If I were you, I'd enlist some of her friends to make the decorations; kind of like a theatrical set. PM Watercolor, she may be able to give you some pointers on that.

Not exactly decorations, but don't forget the cookies (or cupcakes) that say "Eat me". :roflmao:
