Do you have something akin to a Dewey decimal system to know where everything is located in that garage? Or is it more of a, "Now where did I put that"?

W.C. Fields system. As long as I put something somewhere, I can usually still lay hands on it years later. If somebody else moves it...all bets are off.

That's my system as well. As long as no one touches anything, I'm good. However, there are those times where I "clean up and organize" and then I can't find anything for weeks.

Only weeks? Still looking for my compression gauge from may. I DID find my bore scope tho.
Upon my death I have that going for me.
