I know Im in and 2 of my dogs! Sounds like a great event!!

Am I looking at this right..it's in November? If it's cool, he would be okay..with his bad heart I'd be concerned about the distance/heat if it was in warmer weather.

They need to do more of these types of events in this area. They used to do a dog walk on base too but I dont think they did it last year. I have 3 so you can definately borrow one of mine!

I love how there are so many great boxer ppl in this area - but it's kinda sad we all have that big dark cloud that has cancer slapped in the middle hanging over our heads!

My oldest boy just had a lump removed from his paw the other day - this will be number 4 lol up until now all benign - now we have the waiting game of sitting around until the histopath report shows up, hopefully we will be lucky again!

I will def be there - with at least 1 of my boys! They are my life! ) Boxers Rule! lol

Didn't really dive into the website that hard - but is there restrictions on dog breed's? I have my 7 month old Boxer which is no problem. But the wife has a Rotty and I know there is a lot of negative sterotype's on him. Are Rotty's allowed?

These seem to be the only rules I can find.

· Dogs must have rabies inoculation and be current on all shots.
· Dogs must be kept on a 6ft or shorter leash. No retractable leashes.
· Water for dogs supplied community style.
· Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult
· Female dogs in any stage of heat will not be allowed to participate
and should not be brought to the event.
· The Director and/or Veterinarian reserve the right to re­fuse entry to
any dog deemed hazardous to others or whose physical condition
appears to be in jeopardy.
· Participants may walk with two dogs only.
· Dogs must be at least 4 months old to participate.
· Owner is responsible for controlling dog at all times.
· Owner is responsible for cleaning up after the dog. Doggie bags
will be provided.
· For safety’s sake cat cannot attend.

Seems like they might be leaving it up to the personality of the dog rather then the breed. And if that is the case then I mean come on, does this look like the face of a stone cold killer?
