I've seen the pics in a couple of bike mags, nice looking ride. Looks similar to a HD Road King.

i like the dual headlight setup on the regular rocket III better... still a nice bike though. i'd like to put that engine in some wild custom supercharged midengine econo-car.

Almost 2300 cc and only puts out 106 horsepower

The Gold Wing with 1800 cc's puts out 118 horsepower.

The Venture with 1200 cc's puts out 98 horsepower.

This Triumph has a 2.3 cc engine.
TheToyota Camry with a 2.4 engine puts out 157 horsepower.

For an engine that large they dont seem to be getting much power.

By the way I looked for a Horsepower rating for the new Harley dresser and its harder to find than the secret recipe for Coca-Cola. The older dressers got about 64 hp I would say the newer ones should be getting 75 before they add the Power commander Chip , the big bore kit, the loud mufflers and dump about another 2 grand in the stock bike. If someone has a better idea put it here.I really would like to know. How much power does the new Screaming Eagle dresser put out?

It's a low compression engine, somewhere around 8:1. Read an article about some guy that makes a turbo kit for it. Bumps up hp about 50 and torque 50 ft/lbs

Just bought a Rocket III and got over 1500 miles on it. It's waaaaay faster than a Goldwing or any other powercruiser. The only thing faster is a sportbike and it's faster than most of those too. Hayabusa is faster. It's 0-60 in 2.7 secs, plenty of power, horsepower was decreased but torque was increased from 147 foot lbs to 154 ft lbs torque at ONLY 2000 rpms! richard_fishbein@yahoo.com
