Who's game? :yahoo:

As the founder, I'll again be "President and CEO" but am going to need some help this year. I will be on the road covering ARCA, NASCAR, FASTRAK along with the All American Series at Old Dominion Speedway and select SCCA events at Summit Point and New Jersey Motorsports Park. This is going to diminish my free time and ability to be the sole dictator this year.

Homedepot20, OHG, Nacho, Gumbo - I'm gonna need your help. Last year was fun - we had trash talking and we all had a good time. And, ultimately, I came out on top (so kiss it OHG :moon:). The format doesn't quite work though ever since this crap COT came along and completely ruined the competition level in NASCAR. So, we'll try with the old format for 5 weeks. If 2009 becomes a repeat of 2008 (same 3 cars winning every race), I'll make changes... but I am open to suggestions.

Good luck:buddies:,

Daytona

I'll again open a preliminary non-points first round for the new recession format of The Shootout at Daytona but may not be able to score it or the 500...

I will be at DAYTONA! :yahoo::yahoo::yahoo::dye::cartwheel:cartwheel:dye::yahoo::yahoo::yahoo:

So, you may change the rules again as you see fit and not really keep track of it again, but you should be the one running it? Why not just let others who are more serious run it?

Seriously?

The Redskins fan is bashing NASCAR.

Writer
Andy Marquis has been a motorsports writer for about a year inside the Washington, DC metropolitian area. He began covering races for Maryland International Raceway and was noticed at a regional event there. He now covers ARCA, NASCAR and Drag Racing for racingforthewin.com. Andy has covered many races for several different sources, and has become a well-respected reporter. His unconventional Washington Beltway approach combined with his energy, knowledge, passion and motivation makes him one of the more versatile reporters in any given garage. Despite his youth, he has experience on both sides of the media which allows him to take an unconventional but ethical approach to reporting.

Andy Marquis has been with racingforthewin.com for the better part of a year. New Jersey was the first stock car event Andy Marquis covered in his, so far, short but skyrocketing, career. Before New Jersey, Andy Marquis had only extensively covered drag racing and brought racingforthewin.com to a new market with latebreaking coverage of the death of Scott Kalitta and breaking coverage of Ashley Force's historic Atlanta victory.

Isn't it weird to write about yourself in third person this way?

Even as Beavis...I mean Beaver, he's still has free time in his skyrocketing beltway reporting career to be an annoying little twit on the lesser known somd forums.

I 'am in of course! and I will be more than willing to help post or record race results . maybe we can divide the season like the networks do ? I do not see any reason to change the rules or format .Let NASCAR screw around with their changes and ruin the sport . Beaver Cleaver (Andy) :howdy: I'Am glad too see you back , I was going to start a thread soon to get the ball rolling ( or is that Engines Started) :yahoo:
