Dip stick , Is it too early to start making plans ? Are you going to make any changes to the format . You will still be the "Brian France " right even if you down in sunny Florida ? Maybe we can start a POLL of finding out how many entries we have this year !

:whistle::I think we need a firm time DEADLINE for entries . Last year there were races where picks came AFTER qualifing and that gave a disadvantage to those whom had already made their picks :buddies:

I actually ended up moving to Northern Maryland.

Yes, I'll still be doing the fantasy league with nacho and the old guy.

I was in a Fantasy Racing League long ago that was very well organized and played online and paid out cash prizes for various places (1-10, dead middle and dead last). We had until 1 hour prior to the start of the race to get our picks in and/or make changes to said picks. It was also set up so that if you didn't get your picks in on time (out of town, got busy, etc.), the lineup you selected the week before was the lineup you got for that week.

I'd be in favor of a plan like this, sometimes things do come up and you get busy. Then there are the folks who kind of toward the end of the season, not mentioning anyone in particular who kind of just stopped putting in thier picks, think there were 2 last year, now I beleive after 2 weeks in a row without of no picks that person should be asked their intentions and depending on what they say either dropped or something worked out.

As a WILD idea and don't everyone start blasting me, I think to make the playing field even and not a run away , that a person can only pick a WINNING driver only only ONCE ! ( maybe twice) :whistle:On Race Day on SPEED thats how JR, Wendy, and the others do it so no runs away with the title .:buddies:

Tried it, didn't work because Jimmie Johnson won every race.

Who is Chavez Jr ! :whistle: My reason is if eveyone picks the same driver to win every week , where's the challenge ? We might as well pick the same lineup and play it for the entire year ! We might as well let a computer do our picking ! No offense :buddies: Then again this is only my opinion ! ( from a guy who said short tracks are boring ) :killingme

Then if Johnson wins every week . every body gets the 25 bonus points once and they have to pick the nonwinning drivers to finish in the top 5 . I was just suggestioning a minor "tweek" to make the contest more of a challenge .:buddies:

I don't know, with the exception of 3 people Dipstick :killingme being one of them, there were 5 of us near the top of the standings and during the last 4 -5 races anyone of us could have possibly been the winner.

Beside's it Junior's year to excel. :yahoo:

You ARE delusional. Danica's not coming near a Cup car anytime soon. Once she fails miserably in ARCA and Nationwide, she'll stay in the sinking IRL ship.
