Tide has just peaked at 4.2'. That's 1.2' above flood stage. That means that the lowest lying sections of the island road (249) are more than a foot underwater right now. Water is halfway across the yard toward the buildings. But that's as close as its going to get, so we're good.

Rain has no effect on island water levels. The NOAA prediction for this evening's high tide is almost a foot lower than this morning's peak....no worries.
