Good question. I never thought about it, but I guess, like a car, you need one if you buy a used bike.

Kessler's Body and Equipment does them for $50.00.

Call about 30 minutes before going so that they can ensure the right person is there and not out on a tow job.

Yep, thats what I was going to say. Not sure if SMCity Motorsports does them. Maybe Serge on GMR. Why doesnt Hewitts do them anymore?

SMCity does not. That is who I thought of first so I called them. They directed me to Kessler who verified that they do.

When did Hewitt's stop doing them? I got mine inspected there in September right after moving here? Atlantic Cycle in Waldorf does them; I imagine the motorcycle place on GMR in Lexington Park does them also.

Hodges is the one that suprised me, although since he occasionally sells bikes, I might have guessed. I think maybe Mike was the only guy certed to do bikes and he's not day to day anymore?
