Could it really be so? Is there a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow? Specter states the following to Roberts during the opening of the confirmation hearings.

"Your prospective stewardship of the court, which could last until 2040 or longer ... would present a very unique opportunity for a new chief justice to rebuild the image of the court away from what many believe it has become as a super-legislature and bring consensus to the court," Specter said.

I may start believing in Santa Claus again if that actually happens...

Not to bring you completely to happy tears 2A, but do not forget that Sept 17th is Constitution Day and by that new 2004 law, the federal government is required to provide educational materials on the Constitution to its employees around that time. This must be done annually. Also, all new hires must receive the materials to educate them on the Constitution from then on. If I also remember correctly, federally funded schools must have a Constitution educational time on or around that day. I won't remind you who gave us that law, so I don't ruin the moment.

If you want to review the OPM suggested materials, go to www.opm.gov and look under the Katrina Hurricane banner for Constitution Day. Click over to it and then Click its banner.

I find it interesting that the last thing they recommend is a copy of the Constitution. It should be first.
