A very good friend of mine's dogs were poisoned. 2 have already died but the 3rd is going to make it !!!! In order to bring "Rocky" home she must pay at least a portion of the existing balance of $1800 plus since each day adds more to the bill.
She is sacrificing almost everything they own to get Rocky back home. She already lost 2 of her "fur babies" and just wants to hold him and bring him back home to his family !!
DONATIONS ARE BEING SENT DIRECTLY TO DUNDALK VET CLINIC ON WISE AVE. DUNDALK MD. ATTN: DR. JAY FOR "ROCKY BALBOA".

Thank you to anyone that can help this family bring Rocky home.

So you are saying this vet won't work out a payment plan and refuses to let her dog come home, thereby incurring more expense?

As a dog owner, vet bill payer, etc., something feels "off".

ya' know what feels off to me? The fact that 3 dogs were poisoned. Why would someone poison the dogs?

The whole thing feels off.

But my girl did eat a piece of a mushroom once and was violently ill. So accidents happen. But the vets let me take my dog home too.

They were probably annoying a neighbor. I had a cat that was poisoned with antifreeze when I was a kid. It kept getting on my neighbor's car and the psycho poisoned her. Or their neighbor is just psycho.

Now it's looking like we have more than one story. So, what is it? Poisoned, septic shock, Lepto? Sorry, just smells fishy to me.

I'm not convinced this isn't a scam.

It's real. They're friends of my wife's family. My wife met them a few weeks ago when she was in Balto for a visit just as it was starting to unfold.

In that case, I hope the dog gets the help it needs. That said, this is another case of people having pets that they can't afford to take care of. No money set aside, no credit, nothing. Who suffers? The pet.

And why/how were her dogs poisoned? Is she allowing them to run around the neighborhood? Are they barking all day and night because they're tied to a tree in the back yard?

Not trying to be mean, but sometimes people bring things on themselves.
