3 Wk Old kittens

Received a phone call yesterday, someone has 2 3-wk old kittens they need help with. They have some strays/ferals around, the people left the kittens alone outside all day/over night, and momma never came back for them. They took them in and gave them the canned kitten milk. Anyone that can help?

I'd love to raise them, but I'd have to get linked up with a rescue. I don't know that I could financially handle three by myself. And I live across the ditch. And I'd have to make sure it wouldn't cause undue stress to the marriage.

Can you add any more stipulations? :lmao:

I can't take them. Have my hands full and Biscuit needs more mommy time.

Edit: Wonder if the person that called them was the same person that posted on here.
I know your hands are full, thats why I didn't send you a note. I totally understand. :huggy:
These kittens are in St Mary's, think the other threads are from Calvert area.

Well, several hours later...and meeting a kind hearted man at Lowes, the 2 kittens are finally all settled in for the night..in a nice big outside cage.
Seems that have a bit of the skunk smell to them.
Also, all new kitties coming here go into a 10 day isolation period and this time of year, and at their age, and their special odor it is outside!!!

They are cute and closer to 5-6 weeks, as they have a full set of teeth!!
One is a classic orange tabby with white paws and the other is a sweet muted gray torbie.

Photos to follow after a bath, worming, defleaing and all that.

Nice work to all involved in helping these 2!!! Kudos to Softball Crazy :howdy:

Fred and Ethel..update

Well, it is late in coming, but here is an update on the two wee ones from August.

The two are bother and sister, named Fred and Ethel ( we do the alphabet name game and this year started at Z-A.)

Yesterday Fred and Ethel got their big operations, got micro chipped, rabies and distemper vaccs. They have been wormed.
They get along well with dogs and kids, having spent time at another fosters with dogs nd kids for just that purpose.

After a long night sleeping it off the effects of surgery, they are now running my old lazy dudes all over the place and having fun!

They are available for adoption through the Humane Society of Calvert County.
Photos coming later via SmugMug.

We also have this drop dead handsome tuxedo dude who was rescued from the drain pipe that goes under Grays Road off Dares Beach (Calvert).
He was like a Jack in the Box...popping out at one end of the drain pipe as we were at the other coaxing him with food...he won the game...However,
after 24 hours he was FINALLY caught in a trap!

I named him Jack A Roo...he is a sweetie! So, anyone looking for a 6-7 month old tuxedo box, call HSCC.
I will get his pics up later.

Thanks!!!:howdy:

Katelin,

He looks like he is smiling. Very adorable and hope he finds a great home.

He is a happy boy and has come a long way from being the scared skunk smelling kittey he was 8 weeks ago!!!

I hope they can go together....that would be a super happy ending to this story!!!
