what beauties. I'm a sucker for an orange and white kitty.

I've got one solid black female foster I'm going start working next week to place. I held her here at the house since it was Halloween and and she's black, etc etc.

Your beauties shouldn't have any trouble finding homes. They're gorgeous. Thanks for taking such good care of them!

UPDATE: Both have forever homes!

Took a while, but Fred and Ethel finally are in their forever homes. :yahoo:

We decided that due to their personalities they did not need to be adopted out together.

Ethel lives with 2 girl and a single dad and one dog and loves it!!! She is going to be so very spoiled.
Here is Ethel:

And Fred ...

He is off to live with an older couple and one 14 yo cat who loves to play. Fred will be treated like the "Prince Frederick" that he is!!

The 2 of them together: Just as they are so different in their markings, as they are in ther personalities. That is why they did not need to be adopted out together.

It is a wonderful Happy Beginning for these 2 once skunkie smelling kitties from St. Marys. Thank you to all who helped them along the way and a big thank you to all who prayed for a happy outcome!!!

In some ways I will miss them, but as a foster mum, there will be more...:buddies:
Have a wonderful life Fred and Ethel!!!!!

I found their "admission" pics..taken August 5, 2009..it was a wicked hot, humid, muggy night and they lived outside for about 8 weeks until they lost that "special skunkie" smell!!!

Yup..he is one very unique cat...his markings remind me of a "mackrel" and that constant "grin/ smile"....He has nice full cheeks!! Hahaha

Adopt me please !
I know this is way late for the original time-line of the thread, BUT there is a really affectionate orange and white Neutered Male at the Tri-County Shelter that I saw that is out of time as of yesterday (6/2). He's 8 years old, so his only way out is a RESCUE or a rescue-oriented person willing to adopt an adult cat.

There is a SALE on adult cats at the shelters (Tri-County and HS I believe) where you can adopt them for a very low rate (almost free) - so maybe your friend can save a couple at the shelter - that would LITERALLY SAVE THEIR LIVES .......
