3 YR old female Bichon Purebred at shelter...

I looked at her and the poor thing was so scared and extremely leery of anyone getting close to her. She seemed fine with my dog but with as scared as she was, we decided not to get her because of my one year old who wouldn't be as cautious in approaching her as she would need.

When they removed her from her kennel did she seem to get a little better? I can understand with a young one being cautious though. Yesterday the pitt pup there acted the same way until we took her away from all the commotion, then she just melted in my little girls arms.
The Bichon did get adopted out yesterday before I got there.
I'm not sure if Tri has a sitting room to take the dogs to so one can better gage how they act. We took in a Cockapoo who was so frightened, he growled and snapped at me at first,, what a love bug he turned into as soon as he realized he was safe and loved.

BTW, good luck in your search. PG has two one yo poodles and I think another 6 yo poodle.

She seemed a little bit better once they brought her outside but still very hesitatant especially to my husband. And if it was just me and my husband, I wouldn't have hestitated but with the little one I wasn't so sure.

You made the right decision for you since your little wouldn't understand the situation.
