OUCH!

I was amused at Canada having 200+ tanks...um, why?

AND NK having the highest number of subs! 78??? Its like how many Studebakers are still on the road in Havanna?
Look at how much Russia spends annually...hmmm.

Interesting some of the 3rd world puke holes like Pakistan/Iraq didn't make the list yet they have nukes.

Iraq has a nuke???

guess that might surprise a few people.

I am stunned at the shrinking defenses of much of Europe!

ISSIS (or whatever the "rebel" army is that is taking over Iraq & Syria is called) just announced that they had seized uranium in Iraq. So they now have at MINIMUM a dirty bomb.

Working on a joke about Poland's 5 subs...

I'm thinking along the lines of the flex seal infomercial... the one with the screen door on the bottom of the boat. Just need to tie it all in with the saying "as useless as a screen door on a submarine"

And maybe, just maybe, we reach the point where we start taking these people seriously...

I thought they did when Sadaam was in control. I may be wrong.

I don't think Iraq ever had a working nuke. As to the graphic in the OP, the column lists nuclear "warheads" which is probably why several states that have conducted nuclear weapons testing aren't included on the list.

Baja & Ken,...you both would quickly recall that Israel had something to say about Iraq's nuke program n...1983(??)--they launched an airstrike on the plant.

So, now...we are puzzled about the lunatics in ISIS,...is anybody watching Iran's enrichment program "for peaceful purposes."
(Oppenheimer comes to mind..."Now we are the destroyers of worlds."---Muslims can't wait to get that program going.

Guess I'll buy that truckload of block & a tank of cement for the shelter before it gets too costly.

Under administrations like the current regime, having friends like America is like not having any friends at all. Just ask most of our European (former) allies.

Where do they get that manpower number from? Doesn't that seem a little high for us? Does it include draftable people?
