You know the policy of car rental agencies is, or used to be, to sell those units when they hit about 30,000 miles, don't you?

New Kias should go straight to Rent-a-Wreck.
I bought a Neon that was a rental back when I did a LOT of travel and wanted a beater car. I think I paid around 7k. It had somewhere around 30k when I bought it, and I put another 130k on it in the next 4 years then gave it to a friend who drove it past 200k before selling it to a junk yard for a couple hundred bucks (it still ran). Literally never had a single problem with it, just changed the oil and rotated tired every 5k miles. No repairs, no non-repaired issues you just live with, dIdn't even need to change the brakes.

If I may ...
For your consideration ...

Does valuable street cred involve stealing a car .
Well duh. He most likely already participated in some looting scenarios and possibly some burning of things as well. You know, the baby steps of beginning criminality? Having already beaten kids at school for their milk and lunch monies. The car was just the next step in his evolution to becoming a rapper before going off to an all expenses paid Fulbright Scholarship before taking the BAR exam. I mean come on, we see this play out all the time ... don't we?
