I don't remember how long it took to get there, I was on my way to a hick town near Roanoke and that memorial turned into an impromptu side trip. :lmao:

The vast majority of D-Day deaths occurred at Omaha Beach where it is believed around 2,200 Americans died on that one day. Total Allied KIA's on D-Day are estimated at around 2500.
Call me old fashion, but thats a large part why to this day I pay no attention to Europe when it comes to their criticisms of our country.
