7-month-old puppy abandoned in 20°

Adopt me please !
We need your help. Our newest intake is a puppy that was abandoned outside in 20° weather! Neighbor tracked the owner by information on the collar and the owner said they didn't want the puppy anymore but the neighbor could only have the two dogs they already had so left the puppy with the owner. The next day the neighbor found the dog outside, this time with no collar. Who does this to a 7 month old puppy? She will be available for adoption soon. In the meantime we need donations to take her to the vet and get her vet care started so she can be adopted. She needs exam, vaccinations, and spay surgery.

You know I've come to the conclusion that half of the people in this world are idiots and have no compassion for anyone other than themselves. Popular opinion at this time is that this approximately 7-month-old puppy is a German Shepherd and Australian dingo cross.

I actually wish it were possible to prosecute people for taking on an animal, not properly registering it, not getting vaccinations, and just abandoning it. Surely if confronted the owner would say it wasn't their dog and there's nothing on paper to prove that it's their dog because they never took responsibility for it once they got it. They obviously didn't feed it much either because she's very thin.

She is beautiful. I know you'll take good care of her. Will send you a Chewy order soon. What kind of puppy food is she on and what's her name?

All anybody can do is try to help they can.

I can’t imagine why Ruby wasn’t cherished in the home she started out in, but I ended up with a very good pup.
