Evidently - the Dems ain't done YET. They've decided to try and pass a law that will allow states to go ahead and do what Colorado - and Maine - and others - wanted to do.

But that's not fascism. Donald Trump - HE'S the fascist who is destroying democracy, not the people trying to prevent any political opposition. THOSE people are just trying to keep us free and safe....

Are the Dembots so indoctrinated that they honestly don't see themselves?

This is insane. What's to keep them from trying this crap the NEXT election - and the one after that - and after that? Finding ANYTHING disqualifying for a political opponent, to keep them off the ballot, and all that is needed is a compliant state supreme court or legislature?
Is this different then the Wasserman Shultz sponsored bill (HR 7906) that Raskin mumbled about?

If it is the same bill it only relates to a disqualification for Jan 6 activities and removes the standard of guilt from "beyond reasonable doubt" to a showing "by a preponderance of the evidence". It further makes it a crime for a State to place on the ballot such "individual described" and carries a fine and potential jail for the State Official that places them on the ballot.

It is past time for the Repubs to use the dems tactics. Lie about everything and if caught say "Ooopsy, sorry!" Try to circumvent the Constitution and if denied by the SCOTUS just ignore them.

That is repulsive. If you're going to knock someone off a ballot for a serious crime, it should carry the burden of proof that a serious crime requires.

These guys are insane. They have no intent whatsoever of following the Constitution or listening to their constituents - their concept of fairness is no greater than that of a grade schooler - 'fair is what I like'. They despise Trump so much, they are willing to wipe their asses with the Constitution to get him.

What makes this so bad is, when Trump is no longer on the national stage and driving them crazy - who will they THEN direct their efforts at?

Right now they are losing their MINDS over the SCOTUS ruling, questioning the wisdom of the very judges they have praised for so long - when almost anyone with even a minor knowledge of the law knew, this Colorado thing had no merit. What, did the three female SCOTUS liberal justices all turn MAGA or something?

I thought 9-0 would put an end to it. Nah-aaaaah.

I wouldn’t be surprised after all these attempts to keep trump from getting elected fail that they take a more permanent approach if you know what I mean. Things are going to get real ugly as we get closer and it looks evident there is only one way they can stop him from being elected.

Is it time to get rid of them all yet?

Asking for a friend.
We could fit a bunch of them on a C17, fly them to the Middle East and drop them off. Promote it by telling them it's a fact-finding junket (when was the last time you used "junket" in a sentence?) to Palestine and the Gaza Strip.

I'm thinking 30,000 feet ought to be about the right height for dropping off Congress, don't you?
