Agreed. I'm still trying to figure out, if it was some kind of controlled demolition -

1. What accounts for the similar destruction at the Pentagon and Flight 93? Did the people who somehow crafted the destruction in New York orchestrate ACTUAL PLANES, elsewhere?
2. Did they somehow convince a bunch of crazed anti-Americans and Osama bin Laden that he should fly planes into the towers - even though they were going down anyway?
3. Corroborating testimony of the planning of the attacks by al-Qaeda and seriously tons of evidence of the planning prior.

Occam's Razor makes more sense - because the common thing with conspiracy theories is LACK of evidence as in "where's the evidence that something happened?" and NO proof given of the alternative conjectures.

Not to mention that the demolition wasn't "controlled" at all. It made a huge mess all over lower Manhattan and shut things down for a good while. And most of us on here probably personally know people who worked at the Pentagon and/or helped in the aftermath, and I haven't heard one of them express skepticism.

Also if Bush just wanted to go to war with someone, it didn't require blowing up three major facilities to get things going. Now, if they were saying Bush knew it was going to happen and did nothing, that's more plausible although unlikely. Americans don't need some spectacular thing to go full bore against Islamic terrorism - most of us have been on board since the 70s.

My Dad WATCHED IT HAPPEN. He was no more than a few hundred yards away - he'd been at a meeting at the Pentagon Annex and was outside and saw the plane hit.

My sister knew one of the passengers on that plane.

Its one of those moments etched in our brains. I was on I-695, near the Parkway, listening to WMAL. Sports guy Tim Brant, was talking about sports and broke in with the story. He said a plane had crashed into a building in the city, so I thought, well, a piper cub or something.... THEN broadcast news broke in with the story. Suddenly, the traffic on 695 at I-95 STOPPED..... IT WAS REALLY WEIRD!!!... At my destination all TV's were on. I stood there with about 15 complete strangers shocked staring the news.

And he called himself a fire chief? The planes damaged the impact floors, when fires soften the support they failed. The impact load was too much for the lower floors.
WTC7, when the falling burning debris hit the ground after falling 1,000 feet it moved lateral to damage the ground floor support, repeat the towers scenario.

Yeah but JFK Jr is still alive, so it's easy to take that leap and believe that 9-11 was controlled demolition. Oh and Sandy Hook was a hoax.

After reading all the comments after this post, it's easy to see who drank the kool aid and refuse to believe their own eyes. As another naysayer said, (who is supposed to be an engineer or something akin), about the collapsed building in Myanmar, except it was a concrete constructed unfinished building and only at 34 stories that wasn't able to withstand a 7.7 earthquake. Far from the heavily constructed steel cored, steel built, Trade Center buildings, as well as the steel built Building 7 that fell unnaturally straight down into it's own footprint at free fall speed.

Flight test program was cancelled, I had a two week vacation, 26 year old single guy in Oceanside CA, never been to CA before.

Actually if it was a controlled explosion it was one of the best for a skyscraper. WTC 7 fell almost perfectly within its own footprint. If you planned this for a month and planted your cutting charges perfectly you couldn't have done it better.

Was getting a cup of coffee at what is now Baymart in Ridge. At the time my father-in-law owned the place (Ben's Bar & Grocery) so was visiting with him. He had the television on when the first plane had just hit the WTC. Left there and went to Dyson's to pick up some lumber for a remodel project I was doing at my house. By the time we got there, one of the towers had fallen - stuff was getting real, Pax River was closing, no one still quite sure what was happening.

I never understood how people could remember where they were when Kennedy was shot until this day.

District 1 Headquarters of PennDOT, Oil City PA.. I was a Network Analyst (intern) and we had access to the TVs that were in my cubicle (4 TVS to monitor weather stations in the winter)... Boss ran up, asked if we could change the channels to news stations and turn the TV's on. Ran to the network room (Actually walked, I was sure he was being dramatic) and switched all the cable boxes to news channels in time to see the second plane hit.

Had probably 20 - 30 people gathered around my cubicle until we were sent home.

Imagine if Trump were in office, doing what he is doing now before 9/11, good chance it would have never have happened. But all the other politicians are concerned about hurting people's feels..

Heard it from a colleague in the hall---Went to the classroom and was glued to reports coming from the net. Kids gathered in the science lab to watch it on the TV...we had so many kids from Bolling, Andrews and yes the Pentagon too. Lingered for hours to help parents scoop up their kids.....many kids couldn't get back on Andrews because of the lockdown. We finally got the last kids grouped together with adequate supervision & drove down to Waldorf to watch coverage in the Red Hot & Blue bar section. School was cancelled Wednesday...maybe Thursday too.

I moved to MD shortly thereafter, Patuxent High School faculty were still talking about it.. our Capt here was a Pentagon Survivor. And if ANYONE gets the chance, or make time to do it, do the Pentagon Tour. They have a small museum where the plane hit, and tell the story of one pentagon worker that died in the plane in NYC on his way to California to see his grandkids. only person with a memorial at both locations.

Back in the day post 9-11 attacks on our country, Curt tried to tell the truth. His life and his family’s life were destroyed (by the GOP establishment—and he was a Republican). It just didn’t fit the narrative they needed. It is worth watching the entire interview to learn where and why we are the way we are today. Many lives were changed on 9-11. Mine included.
