You've been fairly nasty to quite a few people on here, and have made no attempt to apologize.

This is a basic character flaw. I've known a lot of radio folks in my day and, while some of them were nice as pie and people you could hang out with, many of them were divas who think they're all that because they make minimum wage running their mouth on a local radio station.

Little do people know that these "celebrities" are a ratings slip away from getting Elaine's case of 10 oz at Cooks.

Now, I don't mind oldies. But 97.7 is the only radio station we can tune into at work. I've been suffering the monotonous melodrone of the same Neil Diamond/Three Dog Night/Elvis songs day after day after day. I KNOW there are more oldies made in the 60s/70s than just the 50 song staples they pitch to us ad nauseum.

But then something happened at around noon.

Excellent! My sanity is being restored, as much as you can call it that. And no talk! Bonus!

International never kept my beverage of choice cold. If I wanted some, I'd have to buy it, go home and fridge it until cold enough to drink. I asked the owner if he wouldn't mind keeping a 12-pack or so in the fridge at all times (I was buying it every week). Done deal!

That'll teach them and it'll probably be cheaper elsewhere. I found their prices to be higher than other liquor stores around here. They do have a good selection of wine but I still like Port O'Call over in Solomons the best.

1) I think a change of music is a GREAT idea and I hope that the format stays!

2) I think those who are complaining need to just find another station and keep quiet about the new format...
