Does anyone have any recommendations for a real estate angent? I am looking for one that is honest and professional. I do not want anyone pushy and want someone who is out to help not use.

the ONLY one I would use would be Bekie Valenzuela--she is there for YOU!!! would not trust anyone else these days!! good luck!!:buddies:

Both are great and very helpful

We used Cindy Arnone 301.863.5355, she listened to exactly what we wanted and didn't try to steer us into anything we weren't going to be interested in. I've dealt with her a couple of times and she has always come through.

Where are you located?

I took the classes to become a agent in 2007 - too chicken to proceed at this point to get licensed. Maybe someday. The only reason I even mention this, is because in taking the class, I found a whole new understanding and respect for the Realtors and agents that provide us these services.

Question #1.
Are you looking for a buyer's agent or a listing agent?
I'm going to guess buyers agent. An agent can represent you in either scenario.

I know many here in Somd personally. And I've dealt with many during my 18 years here. Read your local rag advertisements by Realtors and their agents. Do a search here in the forums. Several post here on line or have advertisements on this site. Talk to several. Make your own opinion what each Realtor and their agents can bring to the table to reach your goal and make you a happy client. IE: What made someone else happy or not - may not do the same for you.
JMHO.

I used the Yowells for both of my property purchases. They are great. Also willing to help out with any real estate questions long beyond the purchase date.

There are good and bad ones. Some of those that are supposed to be the best do not follow through as promised. You have to check them out for yourself and always make sure that if you are selling your house that your marketing plan is being followed and things are being completed as stipulated.

Lisa Wills is the best that I have found, by far. Very nice person and straightforward. She is with ReMax in White Plains.

Use Beth Currie at O'Brien Realty I've known here for years. She is a local and really knows her stuff. 240-538-3314

Betty Brown, O'Brien Realty in Waldorf. Excellent agent. We were living in another part of the state and she did a lot of leg work between our visits here, checking out places she thought might work, eliminating some that wouldn't suit, that sort of thing.

I'll second this one. Their advertising scheme is awesome. We listed our home with Josh Yowell about two weeks ago---we had a contract on it by 10:00am that morning. He's been incredibly proactive, helpful, and informative throughout the entire process. We would deal with him again in a heartbeat.

I used Farrah Morgan @ C21. She was wonderful! She can help with all your needs whether buying or selling. She has helped with selling my current home and now working with her to purchase another.
