Most Mastiff's I have met are gentle giants. Like everything else, there are exceptions...Glad you are ok!

top very sorry to hear that sir, looks painfull. Got tagged once in the shoulder by a chesapeake bay retriever, not anywhere that bad, no chunks out just teeth punctures all around the shoulder. Knew the owner and knew the dog was up on all shots, the most painfull part actually was when i got home and pored rubbing alcohol in to the open wounds. lit me right up.

Hope it's healing well, Pick. 
I guess that's especially true when you look like a giant one of these.
I would advise using alcohol to kill the pain as well - but on the inside, not the outside.

Oh ow. You got off easy... that mofo coulda been snacking on your lower arm in his yard WHILE you were at the hospital if he really wanted.
Ouch though.
