My experiences with persons of the Muslim faith and those of Arab ethnicity are very much similar. Never had an issue with any of them except one jewelry merchant I totally p!ssed off while haggling over a ring. If you don't haggle it p!sses them off more. Long story short he kicked me out of his shop I came back the next day, apologized, and offered him his asking price, he knocked it down a little and then we went and had a soda together.

Of the 300 million plus Arabs in the world most are great people, it's a shame to cluster them all with the few that create the hate.

But seriously I must ask, when did they put a Wendy's in Riyadh?

It was there in 2001, just a block or so from the main gate at Royal Saudi Naval Headquarters. If you go a couple of blocks the other way there is a mall with a Burger King, and there's a McDonalds and Pizza Hut combo about two miles away. Nothing like grabbing a Big Mac and large fries to eat while you enjoy the weekly beheadings.

The best execution I didn't get to see when I was there was a rapist who had raped to women at the university in Riyadh. He was to be beheaded in city center, but the students complained that he had raped their fellow students so they insisted he get executed on campus. Then the campus police complained that his actions were an insult to them, so they insisted they be allowed to shoot him rather than have the state executionist behead him, so the cops were allowed to shoot him on the campus grounds.

There was no mention of rights for the rapist as his ended once he committed the rapes.
