As soon as he realizes it's gonna cost him twenty bucks or more to feed both of you burgers, fries and a root beer float, you'll end up at McDonalds anyway. Make him really splurge and get him to let you play keno and horse racing the entire time your there, maybe you'll win some $ and then take yourself out somewhere really nice. :killingme

If you like onion rings, they're pretty good there for a fast food joint.

Ott and I had dinner with some of his family last night at the Wharfside in Edgewater. It's on 214 (Central Avenue) just west of Route 2. Small place, not fancy but clean and family owned. They have a small bar..tables inside and a nice patio area with outside dining. The food was excellent.

Eating out + long drives = emergency stops at any gas station restroom available. So... I'd say that would be a :boo: but it does sound nice!

Husband wants to recreate our wedding night dinner

He just called and said he wanted to be more romantic this anniversary and wanted to recreate our wedding night but couldn't remember where we ate after getting married at the Courthouse. Not to take the wind out of his "romantic" bubble but had to break the news to him that we ate at Bert's in Prince Frederick. :doh:

Bear Creek has THE WORST BBQ EVER. They shouldn't even be allowed to call that...stuff...BBQ. If you want ribs that you have to chew for 15 minutes to even be able to swallow them, Bear Creek is your place. :ick:

A&W is counter service fast food. Not sure why anyone would think it was like Applebee's or Ruby Tuesday.

Well you can go back there...it's now Jerry's Place. EXCELLENT FOOD..better than Stoneys. :yay:

Neither one of us likes seafood. Bert's is still around. Just need to find it (think they moved to Main St). Or we could go to the one in St Mary's. The kids have never gone to that one but always comment about the place with the hot rod on top of it.

There is. I remember when they were leaving the place that's now Jerry's, they were moving to a place on Main St. Maybe I am wrong. I will check on my way home. If not, then St Mary's it is.

Saw a sign in front of the old Pizza Hut on GMRd the other day that an A&W is going in there. But, I could be wrong.

Berts hasn't been in the place on 4 in many years. It was a few other places after that, most recently Vics. It was very dirty and didn't have very good food.

Yes, I know. We went there while it was Tasty Quick and Vic's and it just wasn't the same. I guess I was wrong about them moving to Main St.
