BillG was a master marketer and Tactician of Crapware .....

Apple had a GUI 1st unless you count GEOS for the Commodore, while the DOS world was still @ a See Prompt ..... :whistle:


Bill was smart enough to see the winds of change blowing and the world got Windows, which ironically had Desktop Icons strong armed from Apple Macintosh .... Apple was still making loads selling ][e and needed to renew licensing for MS Basic .... so M$ threatened to not renew unless Apple allowed M$ to copy the icons .... :evil:


Novell had a better NOS ..... BillG just out marketed them .... I still here from people how much better Groupwise 5 was better, even now with Outlook 2k7

Update

Have had my NEW Touchsmart computer for about 2-3 weeks now, and she is running like a dream even with the dreaded VISTA monster! :lmao:

I really like this computer and am definitely glad I purchased it. What scares me is HP's tech support! :faint:

I spent over an hour online with one in chat asking how to set up a home network with Vista and he never did figure it out. I got off the phone with him and went to Microsloth's website and had it done in 5 minutes. Wished I had thought of that sooner! :rolleyes:
