3 Helo's landing on Rt. 235 and 1 dead

F-150 crashed into a tree. 5 Occupants.
2 Priority 4 (Deceased).
1 Priority 1. 2 Priority 2.
Drivier Intoxicated driving at high rate.
All Hispanic folks. Language barrier made figuring out the situation difficult for the medics. They were unsure if people were in the bed of the truck or in a rear seat.
Trooper 7 with 1 to Suburban. Trooper 2 with 2 for PG Shock Trauma.
Of the three flown the driver seems to have been the least injured.
The initial loadout was for 3 helos. US PARK POLICE (EAGLE 01) was cancelled as Trooper 2 carried 2 out.
EAGLE 01 now in Mechanicsville for an ATV accident.

Yep, I knew it was going to be a bad one when the initial caller already told them one deceased and people were laying all over the road.
Listening to the medic in Trooper 7 talking with PG Shock Trauma led me to believe they "suspected" people were riding in the bed of the truck but were unsure because of the language gap.

Christina and Eddie were our neighbors and good friends of ours. Christina died at the scene and I believe Eddie is the driver as it was his truck. We just talked to them right before they left for Elms beach. Some of you may know Christina from Linda's Cafe as she has worked there for several years.
Please say prayers for Christina's sister to get through the next copules weeks.

Sad that a drunk driver took yet another life (if infact the rumors are true that the driver was intoxicated). Does this couple have children? Any indication who the other person killed was?

If in fact Eddie was driving, it is very sad indeed. No they do not have any children and the other guy is his cousin, I forget his name. One of the others flown away is also a cousin and the othr just one of their freinds. Christina and Eddie are both 22 and a year younger than my daughter Stephanie.This morning I still can not believe wha has happened since we spoke with Eddie around 3:30 yesterday in front of his trailer and there was no indication that he had been drinking but then that was several hours before the accident.
I just worry about Christna's sister Norma and what she has to take care of. She lived with them amd is only 19. She was working and the police came down and picked her up last night.
