Accident this a.m. on 231

Did anyone see the accident in front of the Bridge Diner on 231 this morning? All I could see was, what looked like, a tractor trailer was hit by a dump truck. I couldn't see anything else. Anyone have details? Perhaps OldHillcrestGuy?

All I know is the backed-up traffic would not let me out of my driveway this morning. :cussing:

duh...I know where the Bridge Diner is. It's a hot spot in Calvert.

It's closed now though. The new owners said they may reopen sometime in the future. They're concentrating on cleaning up the liquor store. They've already replaced the roof and painted it. :yay:

So, you got one of them "nice" waterfront places behind the diner?

No dingus, I meant Speedy's house.

I want to know what the story is with that place. State own it? It's too valuable of property for a private owner to let it sit empty.

Well, that answers part of my question.

According to my husband, a group of doctors bought it from the previous owner (some guy named John).

My favorite is the one with the water so close that it only needs 1 good wave to wash it away.
