Accident TJ bridge closed

Looks like I can miss my meeting on base. Usually I get lucky and miss the bridge back up but today it’s my turn to wait.

I've been sitting on the down hill span for over 1/2 hour. Looks like something at the base of the Calvert side.

I was watching the bridge cam, you weren't the only one. A fair number of people turned around on the bridge.

I would have, had I been driving something smaller. I was afraid to attempt it with the pickup.

I managed to call my husband before he left for work to let him know the bridge was shut down. He ended up waiting at home for the "all clear". Then there was another accident at Dowell Rd (car flipped) so he had to sit anyway.

I say put a jersey wall down the middle and take the ones off the sides, someone isnt paying attention off the edge they go and our collective driving skill in SOMD improves.
