DMarshall: I am sorry these forumites see fit to tell you how to parent your child. Much like me years ago, you are simply asking for a referral suggestion. Just like me-you get bombarded with unsolicited ignorance. I am sorry for that-it is hard enough without all that nonsense.

As the previous HELPFUL/on topic posters stated-Dr. Valentine is GREAT. I did not get a letter about him leaving and am bummed by the news. We just saw him in early August! BUT-I will travel to AA to see him for my child.

Good luck to you.

This is what my son takes as well and it does wonders for him at school also.

My son is also on this medication and it has had amazing results. His grades increased dramatically. His principal even sent a note home at the end of the school year to congratulate him on his hard work. My only regret with the medication is that I did not start him on it sooner. I was scared he would be a "zombie" or it would change his personality. Neither of which has happened.

I almost forgot the reason I was posting...

He sees Dr. Saleh in Calvert Memorial Hospital

Dr. decided to change her meds all together :yay: I am seeing a wonderful change for the good in her already :yahoo:

That is wonderful, expect as she grows to have to through this again, but in the end it's all worth it. May I ask what doctor you choose?
