I only know about the reconized dressage stuff cause i was going to do the reconized dressage show at oak ridge, and michele told me i had to be a member of both USDF and USEF to do it.

Not true at all!! You do not have to be a member of USDF or USEF to show at a liscensed show, but if you are a non-member then you have to pay a disciple fee and a non-member fee, both of which are less than membership fees. It really only pays to join if you're going to do 2 or more liscensed shows a year.
