I had a major crush on David in the very early 90's. I saw them at the Patriot Center and couldn't take my eyes off of him. I haven't seen any recent photos of him. I wonder if time has been kind to him.

Time is not kind to any of us.........

I think he looks better than Jani Lane. David's not looking bad for 55.

As a guy and a musician, I don't judge that kinda' thing,
but I can tell you that David's vocal ability was always tops !!!
Vibrato like that is not often achieved.

David's cohort from the Deep Purple days, Glenn Hughes,
Is still the premo voice of Rock-N-Roll !!!!
Trapeze, Deep Purple and all of his solo efforts......

Jani Lane is the exact reason I don't want to see any of these bands now. I am quite happy with my memories of them back in the day, but I don't need to see them again because that will completely ruin the memory. :ohwell: SO, no matter how much I would love to see Aerosmith in concert, because I have never seen them live and in concert before, I do not have the desire to see them old and decrepit now, they will ruin my memories...

But Angel,
Let's revel in the victory !!!
'Fact is that most of the old farts are still far more talented then the
young turds trying to imitate them !!!
Go see a show of your choice and enjoy it.
We are all gettin' old.
Fact.
I went to a concert recently by the Carl Palmer Band.
(Carl Palmer - drummer for Emerson, Lake and Palmer)
Saw them in a small venue in Annapolis, Carl autographed a set of drum sticks
for me and was ever so friendly !!!
Fact,
I asked Andy Powell, guitarist of 70's Brit band "Wishbone Ash"
to autograph the pick guard of my Gibson "Flying-V" guitar and he
did so without hesitation......
the old guys are still most talented,
they are far less egotistical, more mature and
gracious, seasoned musicians. !!!!!!
Time is on our side.....
We may get ugly...............

But we still "Rock" the best...!!!!!!!
