LOL...I have two yorkies....well they may not be St. Bernards but with thier attitudes you would think they were bigger.....
I sent you a PM Spinner and I are about the same $35-$40 each..both of us are in Hollywood..Good luck I would hate to be paying that grooming bill..Where can I ask are you getting them done??
everyone one i talked to said stay away from petco as they really don't care if the dogs are vaccinated they only care if htey had a rabies shot and that is it. They also don't know how to treat animals either.

I've called this place a bunch of time and left a couple of messages. And I never hear anything back from them. They are close to where I live and I was inquiring about getting my dog groomed but I was never able to speak with someone.
I actually just called and got an appt for this Saturday. This place is so close to my house so I hope that it works out.I know the owner and they are busy putting up a fence, etc. (that isn't an excuse) but PM me with your phone number and I'll take care of it.
I think it stresses the dogs out 'way too much to be in a grooming shop all day. I only keep them about two hours. It's something you need to ask when you are making an appointment. You should also ask how long they've been grooming, prices, and what that price includes. What kind of shampoo they use. Also if they blow dry or crate dry the dogs. I don't crate dry my dogs, they don't go in a crate until they are done. I'd also ask how many dogs they have in the shop at a time, a nervous or older dog can get very upset with alot of barking dogs around.
Sometimes it takes a bit for us smaller businesses to call you back. Remember I am the receptionist, groomer, bookeeper, landscaper, maitainence person. If I'm busy with a dog I don't answer the phone. Doesn't mean I'm not here, just busy. I will call you back. I'm sure there are other small places are like this too. That being said I now have to go to work. Have a nice day.
