Their still getting things going. John usually carries the portable phone with him, but he can be somewhat of a 'blond' when you talk to him.

The girl that does the grooming is Bronwyn. She does awesome work. She used to be at St. Mary's vet. I followed her to farmstead. It's a drive for me though since I am close to Ridge. So I try to plan something to do around leonardtown while they get done.

You'll like her! Smith and Wesson love her.

Yeah the guy that answered the phone was kind of vague. Like yeah Saturday at 930 around then will be good. :lol: But like I said it's real close to the house and would be so good if this worked out.

PS Yorkies are nervous little nellies too and the busy noisy shop can scare them...

I agree with you about leaving them all day, I hated it!!! They did really well though considering that they were there all day....... and I got lucky because neither one of them is the nervous type. But they are used to my other two dogs (rottie/lab mixes), one is 120 pounds and one is 100 pounds, and I have two cats and TEENAGERS!!!! The big boys (dogs) love the little ones and tolerate thier energy.

They are soooo spoiled!!!! and love attention and people. I have a brother and sister pair. The little girl can get reserved at times but she makes up for that by just KNOWING that she is in charge.........:killingme

I would also add to ask what form of payment they accept. I don't take credit or debit cards, in the last month I've had to send couple of people have to go to the nearest ATM

Me either and I am about to not take checks due to a few dead beat check writters.. :whistle:

Great Groomer

Just wanted to let everyone know...I took our dog to Gentle Touch Grooming and she is fantastic. We have taken Widget to Petco a few times before but was not real happy with the work. Would take anywhere from 6-8 hours to get a call that she was done. The price was too much and the services asked to be done were not done at all or were done only half way.

Well, Gentle Touch is totally the opposite. I dropped her off at 9 am and she was ready by 10:30. Her cut was perfect, the right length and she did her tail and feet. Her nails were clipped (we weren't sure if Petco was actually doing it or not) and she had the cutest Halloween bandana on. She also seemed very at ease not stressed or upset. And to top all that off it was only $40. She is definatley going back and I would recommend her to anyone. :yahoo:
