Good Lord. I've had FT on ignore for some time now. What the hell is wrong with Mig? She may go about things differently than FT but I challenge him to tell me how he has any more in life than she does? How is he better? People can talk smack about her or me or whoever all they want. Mig is a much nicer person than anyone I see pointing fingers at her.
Maybe file now. Call the States Attorney's office. They will advise you for free. He shouldn't get the rewards of now being all "dad-like" without having had put in the time. At this point, he just donated sperm. Your son is who he is mainly because of you, not him. Stay in control. Your the family.

I would file for child support with the child support office and ask for 9 years back child support. Also, when asking for child support ask them to make him pay until the child completes all of his education, including college or some sort of technical school. Don't let the child support stop when he's 18, I would collect as much as possible. I use the child support office but through another state. My ex is in jail for not paying.
