After market Sunroofs

I've been told that sunroofs installed after market are very prone to leaking. Is this true?

Yep it's true.. Don't ever cut a hole in a perfectly good roof.
Please take my advice, I own a auto body shop and I can't count how many roof skins I've put on because of aftermarket sun roofs.

Factory sunroofs have extra structural framing around them that keep them more stable. Without it, the aftermarket roofs may leak due to natural bending and twisting of the body pulling the roof away ever so slightly and causing leaks.

Some work and some don't ! Doesn't matter how good the installation !
