I saw a video clip of a press conf of Arnold Swartzbewithyou the other day. He had gotten 15 stitches on his lip from when he just recently crashed his motorcycle at low speed.

When asked by a reporter why he didn't have a motorcycle license he responded by saying "I just, uh, never thought to get one." (or something very simliar).


What a role model.

Good grief man, couldnt you have at least lied to the public?

Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger has been riding his motorcycle without the proper license for years but was operating within the law Sunday, when he was in a crash, his spokeswoman said Monday.

The governor was not cited in Sunday's accident. Law enforcement officials offered mixed assessments of his position, which was first reported by KFI-AM (640), citing different provisions of the California vehicle code.

One section of the code defines a motorcycle as "any motor vehicle … designed to travel on not more than three wheels."

But a separate section on licenses says that only "two-wheeled motorcycles" are excluded from the class of vehicles for which a Class C license is inadequate. It goes on to say that the Class M1 license is required for operation of "two-wheeled motorcycles or a motor-driven cycle."

On a sidenote I'm glad that noone was injured. Especially his son.

Saw the press conference where they asked him why he didn't swerve around the car. He said "If I went left, the Republicans would be mad at me, if I went right my wife would be mad, so I just hit her."
