It never ceases to amaze me the vast hypocrisy on the left. Imus lost his job for his comment, but David Shuster and Randi Rhodes still have jobs. And they're comments have been a lot worse.
Hell, Disney kept Dana Jacobson at ESPN after her snide mouthy comments.

Why do you hold women to a different standard than men? Why do you care if a political commentator turns you off?
Why not focus on the remarks that were made and the hypocrisy of the suspension?

She's not suspended because of her language.

She's suspended for (and I quote) "making inappropriate statements about prominent figures."
I think the capper is this: "Air America encourages strong opinions about public affairs but does not condone such abusive, ad hominem language by our Hosts"

Do not all their hosts use ad hominem language when referring to their political counterparts - wasn't that the entire basis for setting up network in the first place? To counteract what they viewed as unopposed ad hominem from the likes of Rush Limbaugh?
Granted, I don't listen to AA regularly and I don't even know who all their hosts are - but I do know Randi Rhodes, and I've heard her on her show launch into (granted, non-profane) vitriolic assults which are every bit as ad hominem and abusive as calling someone an effing whore.
She's suspended for attacking a probable Democratic presidential candidate, plain and simple. It'll take quite a bit to convince me otherwise.

Obama runs around like the Black Dr. Phil making tortured excuses for his experiences instead of saying 'So what? I didn't say squat. My pastor did. BFD.' Bubba opens his mouth and they all caterwaul that the 'first black president' is, somehow, now a cross burning racist.
