177,000 voted in favor of a referendum to exit Canada.
Covered in Newsweek 5/3
Geller report has the latest.
They are disgusted by the crappy election of the Banker to be the next PM and have been tired of regulations and profits being sapped by climate fanatics.
The people's rights have NOT been respected....
So,...What memo is being composed in the White house tonight?
Welcome an oil rich state with thousands of conservative hard working citizens...
Or let then hang out to dry like Budapest in October 1956?

Tell Canada we'll trade them all our illegal aliens for Alberta and British Columbia. Throw in Saskatchewan and we'll give them all our Democrats.
The Maritime Provinces are beautiful and the NW Territories have great fishing and hunting so we would want them too. Screw it just take everything except Quebec and Ontario and maybe the eastern half of BC. Maybe we could trade them California, Oregon, and Washington and if they drive a hard bargain, we could use Colorado as the deal sealer.

Industry/Production-based towns in Canada have been suffering since the 1980's. "Still Standing" is a comedy show that tours Canada and does stand up comedy in many of these communities. ALL have suffered due to Governmental dictates, market fluctuations, and unfair trade policies. Many cling to a hope of tourism or maybe keeping the railhead open. very sad.
Obviously the "NEED" the socialist policies of health and hand-outs...thus in their misery...they still vote for more economic strangulation.

My understanding is that the Maritimes are just like Vermont. I could be very wrong though. If they are, who wants more of that.

(Shrug) I’ve been hearing about Alberta wanting to leave Canada for at least twenty years. Similar noise regarding Saskatchewan and even BC. Not gonna happen.
