So, maybe Frankie got his dates wrong. This coming weekend is looking pretty much like his prediction, and then there's TS Joaquin building up which could contribute to a significant rain event.

We needed the rain badly. It finally started raining here about 1/2 hour ago after days of predictions. One of my daughter's friends is getting married on Sat; I hope her wedding isn't ruined, and my hub's Marine get together has already been canceled. Oh, well. Mother Nature doing her thing.

Looks like it's time to relocate the camper that's in Port Tobacco! There was some minor flooding there this past Sunday, but I would guess that it was nothing like we are going to see this coming weekend.
